At East Arnhem Real Estate (EARE), we celebrate and honor the Yolŋu people, the traditional custodians of East Arnhem Land. Our deep respect for their rich culture and heritage informs all that we do.
Founded in 2010 by local entrepreneur Hannah Fincham-Thomson, EARE has established itself as the premier authority in the property market throughout East Arnhem Land. We are dedicated to offering a comprehensive suite of property services, drawing on our intimate knowledge of the region’s market dynamics. Our insights into current property trends in rentals and sales are invaluable resources for the community, helping to inform decisions in an ever-evolving economic landscape. Despite the challenges and disruptions to the economy and lifestyle in Nhulunbuy, EARE has consistently adapted and thrived, demonstrating resilience year after year.
As passionate advocates for the East Arnhem Region, our mission is to enhance the local economy by meeting the property needs of Nhulunbuy and its surrounding areas for the long term. Our head office in Nhulunbuy works closely with remote teams located in Yirrkala, Milingimbi, Ramingining, Gapuwiyak, and Galiwinku, ensuring that we deliver seamless, high-quality service to all our clients.
Central to our ethos is a commitment to fostering local and Indigenous employment opportunities. Of our thirty three full-time employees, fifteen are Yolŋu people, reinforcing our promise to maintain a workforce that is more than 40% Indigenous. We believe that investing in our team strengthens our community, creating knowledgeable and empowered individuals. Each employee benefits from tailored development plans and learning journeys, designed to support their present needs while fostering future growth.
EARE believe that investing in our team builds strong, knowledgeable and balanced people. All employees have an employment profile and learning journey mapping out their needs now and for future growth. We focus on supporting each member in achieving their personal goals.
Together, at EARE, we are committed to improving the living conditions of Indigenous people.
To change the world by improving the living conditions for everyone.
Being the leaders in the region, providing culturally appropriate housing services through education and advocacy.
We acknowledge we live on Aboriginal land. We want Yolŋu people to succeed therefore we tailor our services to encourage success.
We support individual strengths, encouraging continuous learning and innovation through challenges and setbacks.
Strong relationships require us to maintain open lines of communication, seek instructions, call first, and email second. No surprises!
Integrity means doing what you say. Our team has discipline and that means doing what's good and not what feels good.
We encourage our people to be innovative, putting systems in place to continually improve the service for our clients.
We encourage individuals to do more than they're paid for today to serve their clients, whilst paving the way for personal and professional development.
