Sharon has lived in East Arnhem Land for around 25 years, holding roles with Community Corrections, NAAJA, and the Aboriginal Interpreter Service.

She currently serves as the CHO Operations Manager, overseeing the CHOs in the Galiwinku, Ramingining, and Yirrkala communities.

Sharon possesses a deep commitment to the region and is dedicated to ensuring tenants thrive in line with the contractual agreement with the Government. Concerned about the premature mortality rate, she strives to improve living conditions for Yolngu people to help safeguard their health. She often takes a firm approach to addressing issues related to poorly maintained homes, while working closely with families to educate them on the importance of maintaining cleanliness in their households.
